SELF LOVE

You should be able to work on your self love. Which can be done in all kinds of ways:

Writing down your feelings should be a priority in your life. Not because you’re not capable of thinking and feeling them, but because otherwise, they keep disappearing into the labyrinth of your mind. They’re almost non-trackable in there. Which is going to make it hard to work on them.

So you need to have the opportunity to write down what you’re feeling and thinking. Your fears, your big whys in life, you’re mental blocks, and of course all the things you WANT to feel. All the things you want to be grateful for!

If you don’t have enough space for writing more than a sentence or two, you should reconsider.

POSITIVE MINDSET

Once you know and get a hold of your feelings, your mental blocks and what you WANT to be feeling, you can start working on your mindset.

And again, thoughts are just as fleeting as feelings. So you need to WRITE THAT STUFF DOWN!! And not only that, you should be able to write down the thoughts you WANT to implant in your thinking patterns as well. Because those are the important ones.

A habit tracker where you can track how consistently you’ve been working on your mindset should be a no-brainer in almost all planners today.

But what about affirmations, does your planner have space to write those down at least on a monthly basis? If not, you should reconsider!

GOAL SETTING

Now to something a lot of you already connect with a good planner: the goal setting section.

But I’m not just talking about writing down to-dos every week.

Your goals should begin with your life vision!! What do you want your life to look like say 10 years from now? A life’s vision is a MUST for anyone who wants to take full responsibility for their lives!

Once you have your vision figured out (don’t worry, this can and will change as you start growing personally), you should make sure that everything you do, what you say, what you work on, is connected to that vision! Otherwise it’s a waste of YOUR time! If you get disconnected from your vision, that’s when you start living your life in default mode again! And we don’t want that EVER!

And so to guide all of your actions, you need a game plan, sister! I’m talking monthly goals, weekly priorities, daily habits. And you need to reflect! After a month, or a quarter, you need to look at the things that went well and the things that didn’t! Otherwise, how will you know when you’re getting closer to your big vision? You need to readjust and tweak your goals if necessary.

If your planner doesn’t have room for all those goals, priorities, habits and reflections, you should reconsider!

VISUALIZING

This has always been my favorite part of the goal setting and achieving process! Visualizing your goals as if they’re already here is what’s going to manifest them into your future. With visualization, you’re manipulating your brain into believing that your dream future is already here. Which then is going to trigger the thoughts and actions necessary to actually bring this future to life. It’s that scientific and easy! No woo-woo. A 100 percent tangible process.

Now you want to have a Vision Board of some sorts in your planner. My favorite way to go about this is by having a Vision Board for every single one of my life’s important areas. From how I fuel my body, to how I want to dress, to how I want my home to look like, to how I want to be as a wife, mother, daughter and friend. Ok, but having a Vision Board is only half the work. You need to focus on that vision for at least once a day for several minutes. Keeping your vision on the surface every day will help you achieve everything you’ve been dreaming of, and more!
