LET GO OF YOUR PAST FAILURES
One of the biggest roadblocks you’re going to come across is what you believe about yourself. And those beliefs originate from your past. The experiences you’ve made, the failures you’ve had, the battles you’ve fought. The things you’ve been told your are or ARE NOT. All of this has sculpted the person you are today.
And so to start fresh, you need to let go of that old you. No, it’s not going to be an overnight success, trust me. Been there, done that. Again and again.
Your first step is to realize that whoever you want to be, is already inside of you. There’s no: “I’m an introvert, I can’t be on stage.” or: “I’m too sloppy, I can’t work for myself”.
From now on, everything is possible. You’ve got to get rid of the negative and exclusive I AMs, and start believing in the creative I AMs. Like I AM powerful enough, I AM beautiful enough, I AM strong enough, ...
Because you can be anyone. You can be just like that person you admire so much! Like the person you’ve always looked up to. You can be THAT PERSON as well. So it’s time to get you started.
WRITE IT ALL DOWN
Writing stuff down is like a recurring mantra in my coaching. So if we’re ever going to work together, I am going to make you write stuff down. Feelings, thoughts, fears, big whys,...
All that stuff that is so fleeting you need to capture it on paper.
So let me tell you where to start if you want to have a FRESH START!
Write down your life vision
Your life vision is composed of all the things you want to be, do or have. No matter if you write down your vision for 10 years from now or your vision for when you’re on your deathbed. It needs to contain everything you want to have been, done or had by then. It can take a while to get it all, but once you do, you will feel at home in that vision. And that is your purpose in life. Following that vision and dedicating your time intentionally to bring that vision to life.
Write down your dream day
Dedicating your time to a vision means you should live out that vision through your everyday choices. I’m guessing that your life vision states something about feeling happy, being courageous enough to live your dreams and finding your purpose?
Well all that should manifest in how you spend your days. What people would you like to surround yourself with? What things would you like to try? Where would you like to wake up each day? I encourage you to write that down so you’ll spend your days intentionally creating opportunities to make it come true.
Write down your fears
You might think that this is quite a negative setup to create something? You’ll understand in a second. Your fears are always with you and around you. They’re always talking to you on a subconscious level, telling you to stay away from something, or to turn another easier way. Your fears are not going to disappear. But you can be prepared for the time they arise to get you out of balance.
By writing down your biggest fears, you’re actually taking power from them. Because they won’t have the element of surprise anymore. You’ll know exactly where your doubts and confusions come from and you’ll be able to dismantle them. I’m not saying you’ll get rid of their influence completely, but you’ll be less likely to lose grip of your dream life entirely and be paralyzed by procrastination, perfectionism or the inability to make decisions.

SET UP A GOAL STRATEGY
Once you’ve written down all the stuff, you need to set up a strategy. Because nothing boosts productivity like having a solid strategy and then taking action towards it. So you need to be precise and you need to be elaborate.
Once you have your life’s vision set up, you’re on your way. Now you need to know how to get there. And this is where I recommend using the backwards goals strategy. You write down one of your big life visions, and then you write down every little tiny step you’ll need to take to actually get there. That’s your leitmotif.
Once you have the nitty-gritty written down, you’ll be able to set up the monthly goals, weekly priorities and daily habits that are going to help you achieve your vision. It’s as simple as that. You have broken your big dreams into doable chunks.
Now the only thing you need to do is get to WORK!
That is about it for today! You see, the elements itself are actually pretty easy, but of course going through them can be quite challenging! What I want to know from you today is this: Tell me one of the things you didn’t dare to dream for years because you were so consumed with your self doubt. That’s the thing you should go after first!
If you still don’t know how to get started, just shoot me a message - I’m here for you, that’s a promise!!
Have an incredibly good day!
